TRU would like to improve the quality of courses and support systems in the delivery of ABE courses.
First Nations and rural students face particular challenges. Some solutions include developing a partnership with school districts – which have the expertise of grade 9-12 course content and the educators, as well as the possibility of finding ways to make qualified tutors available for face to face support.
We are looking to the community at large for suggestions, particularly from those that have taken distance education ABE course.
