Since becoming acquainted with the art of blogging via a Fall ’14 college grad course in Digital Literacy studies and as a participant (thanks to Dr. Kim Jaxon) in Connected Courses ’14, I’ve wondered all along how the whole other people’s pictures in other people’s blogs thing worked. Since I had a plethora of other academic +work priorities staring me in the face—not to mention the task of navigating and negotiating my fears of having an online presence—the motivation to figure out the photo component of blog posts (as did the motivation to blog) fell to the wayside.
Thankfully, YouShow15 (what a blessing!), rich in instruction and opportunities for learning/co-learning (and even failing miserably, which has always proved to be a good thing for me), came along, showing up at just the right time. As my grandmother used to say, Timing is everything, followed by her pet term Tempus fugit. As I rattle on, I’m reminded of a recent tweet I saw in my feed:

I have a feeling I did a lot of unnecessary cutting and pasting.
Plan of action for me is to as soon as possible listen to/watch Alan’s recently uploaded office hours hangout video before I continue with anymore lab work.
